What is a van-accessible parking space?
A van-accessible space is 8 feet wide with an 8-foot access aisle (or 11 feet wide with a 5-foot aisle). At least one of every six accessible spaces must be van-accessible with 98 inches of vertical clearance.
What is the maximum slope for ADA parking spaces?
ADA parking spaces and access aisles must have a maximum slope of 2% in any direction. The accessible route from the space to the building entrance must not exceed 5% running slope and 2% cross slope.
What signage is required for ADA parking?
