24/7 Operations and Throughput Engineering

A 200-vehicle robo-taxi depot needs to cycle 1,000+ vehicles per day through charging, cleaning, and inspection. Wins engineers the throughput, runs the staffing model, and provides the AV operator with real-time fleet readiness dashboards.

Cybercab-Specific Design and the Owner's Economics

Two companion guides extend this page: a Cybercab charging depot design guide built around inductive pad stalls, DC-plus-wireless mix, and power sizing, and a depot charger installation cost guide with 2026 per-stall ranges, utility timelines, and incentives after the 30C sunset. Owners can also see how the finished depot earns.

What land size do I need for a robo-taxi depot?

Most production depots run 5-15 acres for primary operations. A focused dwell-and-charge facility can fit on 3 acres. Large multi-shift regional hubs use 20+ acres, often with overnight deep staging on a separate cheaper-land parcel.

Can an existing parking lot be retrofitted into a depot?

Sometimes. Conditions: utility capacity exists or can be expanded, zoning supports industrial-style operations, communications infrastructure can be brought in, and the geometric layout works for AV circulation. We do feasibility studies that produce a clear yes / no / conditional answer with cost.

Who owns the depot infrastructure?

Several models work. Operator owns and Wins Parking manages. Land owner builds and leases to operator with Wins Parking running operations. Wins Parking builds and operates under master-service agreement. We structure deals to fit the capital and operating preferences of each party.

What is the typical project timeline?

Greenfield sites: 18-30 months from land acquisition to operational depot. Industrial retrofit: 12-18 months. Incremental expansion at an existing operator depot: 6-12 months. Utility interconnection is almost always the schedule-controlling item.

How does the depot integrate with municipal regulators?

Through conditional use permits, economic development agreements, and increasingly through incentive packages reflecting the revenue and employment potential of the deployment. We coordinate municipal engagement as part of every project.
